September is almost here and with that, hunting season is fast approaching. Get all things ready and practice shooting. Here comes ELK SEASON!

An open letter to the Youth of Douglas,
Levi’s Loft is looking for youth interested in elk hunting. We are fortunate to have several land owners who have generously opened up their private land for the benefit of Converse County youth. There is absolutely no cost to interested applicants but you must be a Wyoming resident and you must be a first time elk hunter. These hunts will be guided by experienced hunters and the weapon will be provided. We will help you to fill out a hunting license application as well as cover the cost of that.
Elk season runs from October through January depending on the type of license that you draw. No hunting experience is necessary. Hunters safety is not required but we strongly urge you to take the course. Levi’s Loft will also give you the information on when and where these classes will be held.
Levi’s Loft is a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to helping the youth of Converse County develop as individuals and as community members so they will recognize their value in this world.
